Kingbright's New “Minikin-Air” Series - Industry’s Thinnest SMD LEDs

As electronics shrink down to new levels of portability, manufacturers have figured out how to cram more high functioning components in a more compressed board area. The Minikin-Air series is the perfect choice for design engineers as it represents the smallest, thinnest, yet still powerful high quality LEDs. The top emitting package in the Minikin-Air series (APG1005) is the industry standard 0402 package size, but only 0.20mm in height. The right angle package (APGA1602) is also astonishingly small, measuring at 1.6mm in width and 0.20mm in height.

In compliance with RoHS and REACH regulations, the Minikin-Air series is available in Blue, True Green, Amber, Orange, and Red. Not only these ultra thin SMD LEDs are impressively petite but packs big punches, they are ideal for many types of today’s popular electronics. The lightweight and miniaturization of the physical size of these ultra thin SMD LEDs makes them optimal for mobile applications, portable devices, or any design with a space constraint.

Samples are available now, and production quantities are available with standard lead time. To learn more about the new Minikin-Air series, please visit http://ift.tt/1ggYLEU.
